Obtained from Styrax Benzoin, a tropical tree native to Eastern Asia, Benzoin of Sumatra Resin has a slightly sweet scent, much like vanilla, which makes it great for use as a natural incense. It energy is calming and grounding, making it a great ally for work with the root Chakra. In its resin form, it can be sprinkled over the top of a charcoal tab.
 
Do not leave candles, oil burners, charcoal disks or incense burning unattended. Always keep in a safe place away from flammable objects, children, and pets. Use a fire safe dish or plate to set candles and burners on.
