Carved from grey soapstone and finished with a black lacquer, this mortar and pestle is an essential item for home or altar. Measures approximately 3 inches across the top of the rim. Bowl dimensions: Approx. 3 in (diameter), 2.75 in (height) - Rod dimensions:  Approx. 3.5 in (length), 1.5 in (widest point).

Mortar & Pestle is a very precious tool for crushing and grounding either food, herbs, or seeds and other varieties of herbal and mystical medicine. It is recommended to not use the same mortar and pestle for edible and non edible mixtures.
